Customize your Twitter page in 8 easy steps, get a beautiful twitter page

Here are some tips to get a nice Twitter page.

1)      Find inspiration by looking at these beautiful twitter pages.

2)      Go to  http://www.prettytweet.com/

3)      Choose a background for your Twitter page.

 
4)      Upload an image (110 by 110 px). Beware it will not resize automatically, but  you can then make it fit the size of the window by clicking the – and + buttons.

5)      Choose your text color for “text area 1” and “text area 2” different enough from the background you chose earlier. Do the same for the “sidebar color” and the “text color” on the right panel.

6)      Type in your password so as to export your design directly to your Twitter account. You now have your customized Twitter page !

7)      Once you’re done, check out the luminosity, brightness, and color differences at http://www.checkmycolours.com

That is a demanding tool, so don’t worry if you get numerous errors. Just try to get less than 200 of them !



8)      If you want to have a more professional designed Twitter page, you may want to delete the “designed at prettytweet.com” on the top right. If so, just choose to be sent your background image to your e-mail address, and edit it with a photoshop-like tool : draw a rectangle of your background fade color over the text.
