Twitter Revolution in Iran
Publié dans Réseaux sociaux par Yoann le 15 juillet 2009 à 10:24

The controversial result of Iranian election has led to violent protests across Iran due to a possible voting fraud. Iranian government kicked members of the media out. Although it utilizes firewalls and filters in order to control information, it could not stop Twitter and Youtube.

Iranian people have been utilizing Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and other social sites in order to send us news of the  crisis in their country. That’s why the State Department asks Twitter not to go down at its original time so as to allow Iranian people to keep sending news to the world.

Social Media helped Obama win American election but could it help Iranian people  change the future of their country?
