Dans la mesure où Free semble être le seul candidat potentiel pour la future licence 3G, il se pourrait que celle-ci soit attribuée avant Noël (voire debut 2010).

C'est en effet, ce qui est annoncé par le président de l’ARCEP, Jean Ludovic Silicani. Il déclare ainsi : "Nous pensons avoir au moins une candidature. Il faudra qu’elle remplisse les conditions de forme et de fond de l’appel à candidatures (...), notamment la crédibilité sur le plan technique et financier.". "Si nous n’avons qu’un dossier à examiner, la décision sera prise avant Noël. Sinon début 2010".

Ceci constituerai une excellente nouvelle dans un dossier assez controversé. On imagine sans peine la réticence des trois opérateurs actuels à voir débarquer sur leur marché la filiale d'Iliad (Free)...

On se rappelle évidemment de l'arrivée de Free sur le marché des offres ADSL...

Le paysage de la téléphonie français pourrait être modifié grandement si Free obtient la 4ème licence d'opérateur, et ce malgré la hausse du prix de cette dernière.

Connaissant Free et son insatiable appétit pour chambouler les habitudes des marchés (on se souvient de son offre ADSL à 29€ / mois en 2002), on peut espérer voir du changement si Free obtient la licence.

J'en connais trois qui n'ont pas envie de voir Free débarquer comme une mèche sur le bouillon...
