

Sprint Nextel Corp unveiled the HTC EVO 4G yesterday. The phone will support both the higher-speed WiMax network, operated by Clearwire Corp, and Sprint's CDMA network. It is possible that the phone will be called Supersonic, which was its code name.
Sprint is going to launch its 4G phones in summer 2010.But what is its bigger rival doing? Verizon Wireless is also building a 4G network that will be possibly ready at the end of the year. However, it does not expect to have 4G handsets until the middle of 2011.
The principal specs of the HTC EVO 4G are:

• 8.0 MP camera HD video capture and 1.5 MP camera for video chat

• Connects to you HDTV so you can watch HD movies
• 1 GB built-in memory and 512 MB RAM
