As soon as Windows 7 was released, Apple released three new "Get a Mac" ads that target the new Microsoft OS. Apple executive Phil Schiller claimed XP users would have an easier transition switching to a Mac than moving to Windows 7. Thus, Apple will try to take the wind out of its sales with the new « Get a Mac » ads.

Each new "Get a Mac" ad pairs the « PC and Mac duo ». The first one, called "Teeter Tottering," shows a woman who is "an XP user getting ready for the big move." Although PC character, Hodgman, says to her that she will love Windows 7, she decides also to transition to Mac. For explaining her decision, she says: "Look, I could stick with what I know, but what I know is pain and frustration."

The second one, called "PC News," shows PC character, John Hodgman, sitting behind a news desk in order to cover the Windows 7 launch. However, the field reporter interviews customers that only express how excited they are to switch to a Mac.

In the last one, called «Broken Promises", PC Guy promises several times not to have any of the problems his last operating system had. Finally, he says: "this time (with Windows 7) it’s gonna be different. Trust me. "

A funny Mac video of a transformer Mac Book Air!

Maybe, most of you don’t like the mail service of your country. La poste, French mail service, can generate different  emotions on French people and they can use a lot of words for describing it but social media or viral. Believe it or not! La poste, a very traditional company, released a funny viral video about a new transformer Mac Book Air on June 15.

The results are really good for this funny Mac video. The video has had more than 300 000 views on you tube and about 200 000 views on Liveleak since it was released. The Mac geeks spread the video everywhere. Why? They love to say that a PC can not turn into a transformer as this Mac Book Air does.

La poste funny mac video is related to the launch of a new web site, laposte.fr/lre that focuses on a 50-year audience. It is hard to say if La Poste has reached its objectives but its video is really funny (therefore viral) and we hope to watch another one very soon. We want more funny mac videos!!
