Comment les utiliser et s'en inspirer pour faire progresser votre marque ?

Un premier élément de réponse qui me semble très intéressant.

1) Parmi les 100 plus grandes entreprises High Tech du monde, 67 % des marques sur Twitter sont gérées par des particuliers totalement étrangers à la marque elle-même. 

Ainsi, le compte Twitter de CNNBRK (CNN Breaking news) a été détenu pendant 2 ans par James Cox, un britannique qui ne travaillait pas pour CNN… Jusqu’à maintenant.
James Cox a en effet été engagé comme « consultant média » par la chaîne, avec à la clé d’intéressants émoluments, pour continuer d’animer le compte Twitter de CNNBRK.

2) Prier grâce à Twitter, c’est possible !

L’étudiant Israelien Alon Nir se propose ainsi de recevoir les prières des croyants, grâce à son compte Twitter The Kotel. Il se charge ensuite de les imprimer et de les placer entre les fissures du Mur des lamentations, à Jérusalem.
Une belle initiative…

3) Comment augmenter le nombre de ses followers ?

La popularité attirant la popularité, on pourrait être tenté de gonfler artificiellement le nombre de ses followers. Certes, ça ne sert pas à grand chose dans l'absolu, si ce n'est à épater votre petit frère (et c'est déjà pas mal). Pour ceux qui seraient tentés par l'expérience, voici comment procéder :

- procurez vous une liste des comptes Twitter qui possèdent le plus de followers, par exemple celle-ci.

- suivez les, et ils vous suivront en retour.  

- montrez votre compte Twitter à votre petit frère.

Here are some tips to get a nice Twitter page.

1)      Find inspiration by looking at these beautiful twitter pages.

2)      Go to  http://www.prettytweet.com/

3)      Choose a background for your Twitter page.

 
4)      Upload an image (110 by 110 px). Beware it will not resize automatically, but  you can then make it fit the size of the window by clicking the – and + buttons.

5)      Choose your text color for “text area 1” and “text area 2” different enough from the background you chose earlier. Do the same for the “sidebar color” and the “text color” on the right panel.

6)      Type in your password so as to export your design directly to your Twitter account. You now have your customized Twitter page !

7)      Once you’re done, check out the luminosity, brightness, and color differences at http://www.checkmycolours.com

That is a demanding tool, so don’t worry if you get numerous errors. Just try to get less than 200 of them !



8)      If you want to have a more professional designed Twitter page, you may want to delete the “designed at prettytweet.com” on the top right. If so, just choose to be sent your background image to your e-mail address, and edit it with a photoshop-like tool : draw a rectangle of your background fade color over the text.
